Water’s on, ground tilled, plots staked: gardens ready!

Good news gardeners: the plots at Orient Park and Anderson are ready! City water was turned on earlier this week at Orient. Tilling was completed at both gardens over the Victoria Day weekend. Staking was completed Monday at noon and all annual plots are now ready. Compost delivery is tentatively scheduled for Thursday May 30 assuming city load restrictions are lifted by then.  Please do not plant anything in the front 10 feet or so of your plots until the compost is delivered. You risk having your plants covered! Straw delivery is planned for Saturday June 1st. Before you start gardening, please take a refresher look at the community rules for the Orient…

Gatineau Park Public Consultation

In February 2019, the NCC held public consultations to gather feedback on the draft land use concept and designations for Gatineau Park. As we continue to develop directions and policies for the plan, we would like to know what you think about certain detailed policies not previously consulted upon.
