Water’s on, ground tilled, plots staked: gardens ready!
Good news gardeners: the plots at Orient Park and Anderson are ready! City water was turned on earlier this week at Orient. Tilling was completed at both gardens over the Victoria Day weekend. Staking was completed Monday at noon and all annual plots are now ready. Compost delivery is tentatively scheduled for Thursday May 30 assuming city load restrictions are lifted by then. Please do not plant anything in the front 10 feet or so of your plots until the compost is delivered. You risk having your plants covered! Straw delivery is planned for Saturday June 1st.
