WE ARE LOOKING FOR 24 VOLUNTEERS who will help with staking our Orient Park plots as soon as possible after the gardens have been tilled. We no longer need to operate under strict COVID protocols, so each staking team will have an extra member to make the work go easier. If you would like to work with a specific individual or individuals, please let us know in advance and we will make an effort to accommodate that within the teams. Some of our volunteers may prefer the extra protection of working masked, and so we ask that everyone brings a mask and is prepared to wear it if your team-mates so request.
If you can help, please let us know; we will advise everyone as soon as a date has been confirmed for staking.
Volunteers should bring their own gloves, mask, water, boots (as some of you will be walking the freshly-plowed plots) and a calculator (as some division will be required). Hammers, tape-measures and instructions will be supplied. We look forward to welcoming returning and new gardeners to our staking effort.
