GAGA has made this move with the goal of ensuring better technical service going forward with Canadian provider HostPapa. This includes: What does this mean for you? Final straw purchase reminder

We are pleased to offer GAGA members the option to pre-order straw for their plots again this year.  Straw will be delivered to the gardens by our supplier June 4th. Online prepayment is the only option. Cost is $9 per bale – same as last year.  Payment must be received before end of day Thursday June 2nd. Late payments will not receive straw. Compost delivery cancelled

The City of Ottawa has informed the Gloucester Allotment garden Association that compost will not be available for pickup at the Trail Road facility until at least mid-June. Due to the storm, the City has encountered delays getting the equipment to process the compost, and they are being inundated with tree branches from the cleanup after the storm. Because of the uncertainty of when compost will be available, GAGA has decided we will not be providing it for our gardeners this year.
